SPRINGDALE — Sarah Maudine Dotson, 76, of Springdale died Jan. 4, 2004, at Springdale. She was born May 2, 1927, in McAlester, Okla., to Elmer and Ethel Davis Henington. She was a member of Siloam Grove Full Gospel Church and was retired from Emerson Electric Co. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett Dotson.

Survivors include eight sons, Charles Holson of Springdale, Robert Holson of Lowell, Elmer Holson of Fayetteville, Jim Hancock of Rogers, John Hancock of Woodland, Calif., Henry Hancock of Fremont, Calif., Eugene Pillow of Branson, Mo., and Ronald Dotson of Rogers; five daughters, Wanda Roland of Lacey, Wash., Laverne Kitchell of Hemet, Calif, Bonnie Ballinger of Montclair, Calif., Marilyn Harris of Rogers and Shirley Seymour of Guymon, Okla.; two brothers, J.C. Henington of Locust Grove, Okla, and Jim Henington of West Fork; four sisters, Dellie Wilson of Olympia, Wash., Johnnye Gorski of Fayetteville, Jean Chilton of Oroville, Calif., and Edith Robinson of Boron, Calif.; 43 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Memorial Funeral Home in Springdale with the Rev. Charlie Foster and the Rev. Eddie Free officiating.

Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Ray Holson, Josh Holson, Everett Holson, Eddie Johnson, Jimmie Hopkins and Paul Covin.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cord Alvarez and Delby Alvarez.
