Mrs. Neta Dedmon Lawson, age 82 of Blytheville, Arkansas passed from this life on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at the Great River Medical Center in Blytheville. Born to Major and Martha Elizabeth "Mattie" Ray Dedmon in Peppertown, Arkansas, she was a resident of this area for most of her life.

Together with her husband
Billy Kenny Lawson who preceded her in death, she was the Co-Owner of Kenny's Bait Shop in Blytheville. Neta was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Gosnell E.H. Club. Her parents, husband, triplet daughters, Susan, Saundra and Sharyn Lawson; brother, Reid Dedmon; sisters, Lillian Olmstead, Jewell Stalcup and Olive Kirk preceded her in death.

Her children, Dawne and Craig Bowman of Blytheville, Kenny Lawson of Blytheville, Chris and Carol Lawson of Millington, Tennessee, Roxanne and Jeff Hawkins of Southaven, Mississippi; 8 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren all survive her.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 11:00 am in the Cobb Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dennis Fitzpatrick officiating. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday afternoon from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Cobb Funeral Home. Condolences may be emailed to cobbfuneralhome@sbcglobal.net.
