Cecil Edward Potter, 96, of Imboden passed away Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Cecil was born, October 20, 1924 in Pocahontas to the late Tolbert “Tip” and Mattie Pettit Potter. He was a Marine veteran, a longtime member of the VFW Honor Guard, and a member of Imboden Assembly of God.

He was preceded in death by parents, Tip and Mattie Potter.

Cecil is survived by his wife Ruth Starr Potter; one son, Ron Potter of Jonesboro; many nieces and nephews; great nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.

Graveside services with military honors will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at 2 PM at Hope Cemetery with Michael Bradley officiating under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
