Marlin Martin Boyd, 91, of Mountain Home, Arkansas passed away Monday, August 31, 2020.
He was born on April 30, 1929, to the late George Thomas and Lucy Caroline (Martin) Boyd in Martin Springs, Arkansas. Marlin married Lula Cantrell on
April 8, 1955, in Gainesville, Missouri.
He was a member of Arkana Baptist Church and a devout Christian. He would always say, ''You have to know Jesus.''
Marlin was a Korean War Veteran. He spent 25 years working for Baxter Healthcare. He enjoyed Fishing, hunting and gardening but most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He leaves behind his loving wife of 63 years, Lula Cantrell Boyd; one son: Mark Boyd and his wife, Debbie and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; seven brothers: Leon, Ray, Ralph, Alvie, George, Charlie, and Arlie Boyd and by one sister: Blanche Blair.
A visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2020, at Roller Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 2:00p.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2020, at Martin Springs Cemetery in Norfork, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Food Bank of North Central Arkansas, 1042 Highland Cir. Mountain Home, AR 72653
