Survived by her husband, James E. Sprague, sister, brother, several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by parents, Howard and Lonnie Bowers; brother, Thomas Bowers; sisters, Mary Ellen "Sissie" Cook, Grace Kikinder and Sue Hicks.
The family will receive friends at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, Alabama, on Monday, May 19, 2014, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. A visitation will also be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2014, from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Carney Funeral Home in Blytheville, Arkansas. There will be a graveside service on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery in Blytheville, with burial to follow. Officiating will be Daniel Vandiver.
