Kenneth H. Nistendirk, 86, of Hampton died Thursday December 27, 2012 at Ouachita County Medical Center in Camden. Born June 25, 1926 at Warrenton, MO, he was a son of the late Hugo J. and Lorine A. Busekrus Nistendirk. He was a member of Campground Presbyterian Church and was a woodworker and artist. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and one sister. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Nistendirk of Hampton; two daughters, Sandra Sanders (Robert) of Hampton, Shirley Strickland (Jimmy) of Hampton; one sister, Darlene Osbourn of West Virginia; seven grandchildren, Ricky Strickland (Kari), Phillip Strickland, Rebecca Strickland, Sonya Harrell (Tom), Kenny Sanders (Sandy), Timothy Sanders (Sandy), Michael Sanders; and thirteen great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Hampton. Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Campground Presbyterian Church with Rev. Garland Skidmore and Rev. Mike Colvin officiating. Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery. Arrangements by Benton Funeral Home of Hampton/Fordyce.
