Bobbie R. Fudge, 75, of Batesville died Monday, July 31, 2006 in Batesville.
He was born August 1, 1930 in Lacross, Arkansas the son of James Ray Fudge and Clara Ann Jennings Fudge.
He attended Cave City and Evening Shade High Schools and was a graduate of the University of Arkansas; he was a Navy Veteran of the Korean War. He retired from the USDA Farm Service Agency and also worked in the poultry industry. He was an independent grocery store owner and was co-owner of Independence Machine Shop. He was a member and deacon of the First Baptist Church in Batesville.
He is survived by his daughter Oleta King and her husband, Lynn Roe King of Providence, Arkansas, Judy Bell and her husband Nigel Bell of Lafe, Arkansas; brothers, Kenneth Fudge of Ashdown, AR, Robert M. Fudge of Searcy, AR, and Thomas G. Fudge of Rogers, AR; sisters, Clara Nell Stone of Conway, AR and Virginia Jones of Little Rock, AR; grandchildren, Brittany Doyle and her husband Jody of Saffell, AR, Leslie Oliver and her husband Brady of Jonesboro, AR, Lindsay Bell of Carbondale, IL, Caleb Bell of Lafe, AR; three great-grandchildren, Bryson and Summer Doyle and Brayden Oliver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Clara Fudge; his wife of over 54 years, Winnie Oleta Carter Fudge, and a sister, Mary Francis Wann.
