Ralph D. Lochner, age 92, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Hiram Shaddox Geriatric Center in Mountain Home.

He was born April 30, 1922, in Baldwin Park, California, to Lodia and Anna Robertson Lochner. He married Dorothy Mae Murtha on June 22, 1943, in Cedar Lake, Indiana. Mr. Lochner was a World War II U.S. Navy veteran, a Pearl Harbor Survivor and a member of Alley - White American Legion Post #52. He was a member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and was a Eucharistic Adorer. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed family get-togethers, was an avid bowler, a St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed gardening and rock collecting.

Survivors are daughters: Sharon (Steve) Taylor: Mountain Home and Mary and Sandra Lochner: both of the home; a brother: Earl D. (Lola) Lochner: Clearwater, Florida; 4 grandchildren: Mary Ann (Ron) Caster: Mountain Home; Michele (Jeff) Schudar: Lakeview; John Taylor: Mountain Home; and Angela (Jim) DeGroote: Mountain Home; 12 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from Noon-9:00 P.M. Sunday, March 8, 2015, at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. A Vigil Service will be at 7:00 P.M. with Deacon Richard Linstad officiating. The Funeral Mass will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, March 9, 2015, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Norbert Rappold and Reverend Christopher Okeke as celebrants. Interment with military honors by the Alley-White American Legion Post #52 will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Masses.

Dorothy M. Lochner, age 87, of Mountain Home, Arkansas, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012, at Baxter Regional Medical Center in Mountain Home.

She was born August 20, 1924, in Chicago, Illinois, to John and Ann Rose Hetu Murtha. On June 22, 1943, she married Ralph Lochner who was a Pearl Harbor survivor. She moved to Mountain Home in July, 1972 from San Diego, California. Mrs. Lochner was a devout member of St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church and led many family members to faith in the Roman Catholic Church. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She enjoyed playing bingo.

Survivors are her husband Ralph Lochner: of the home; three daughters: Sharon (Steve) Taylor: Mountain Home; Mary and Sandra Lochner: both of the home; a sister: Patricia Fate: Mountain Home; four grandchildren: Mary Ann (Ron) Caster: Mountain Home; Michelle (Jeff) Schudar: Lakeview; John Taylor: Mountain Home; and Angela (Jim) DeGroote: Mountain Home; 12 great-grandchildren: Diane (Stuart) Crane, Joey and Richard Caster, Amanda, Tommy (Erin) and Katie Beth Schudar; Aaron Taylor, Gage Cooper; Alex, Sarah, Michael and Johnny DeGroote; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lochner was preceded in death by her parents: John Murtha and Ann Rose Hetu Linquist; and a brother: Richard Schow.

Visitation was from 4:00-9:00 P.M. Thursday at Roller Funeral Home with the family receiving friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. and a Vigil Service at 7:00 P.M. in the Roller Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be 9:00 A.M. Friday, May 25, 2012, at St. Peter the Fisherman Catholic Church with Reverend Stan Swiderski as celebrant. Interment will follow in Baxter Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Steve and John Taylor, Jim DeGroote, Ron Caster, Jeff Schudar, Gerald Caster, Brian Schwartz, Mike Peterson, Jim Lockard and Steve Esposito. Memorials may be made to Masses.
