Mr. Daniel Leon Robertson, age 91, of Blytheville, AR., passed from this life Friday, August 17, 2012, at St. Bernard's Regional Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR.

Born to Thomas and Parlee Hayes Robertson in Broseley, Missouri.

He was the owner of Robertson TV service for 52 years and a member of the First Baptist Church in Blytheville, where he was a devoted member of the Men's Fellowship Sunday School Class. Leon served his country in the US Navy, being deployed to the South Pacific during WWII. He was a Mason, a member the American Legion, the VFW, and was a volunteer for the Blytheville Fire Department for 24 years. He was an avid crappie fisherman and hunter. Leon was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who loved spending time with his family.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter Diana Sue Robertson, and his sisters Ester Morgan and Estelle McGee.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janet Boyd Robertson, of the home; his children, Bobby Robertson and (Tamra) of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Lynn Robertson and (Dianne) of Benton, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Chris Robertson and Casey Robertson, both of Jonesboro; his step grand-daughter, Amanda Bragg of Benton; and his brother, Lawrence Robertson and (Marie) of St. Louis, Missouri.

Graveside services were held in Elmwood Cemetery. Arrangments were by Cobb Funeral Home.
