Graveside services and burial for Elmer Franklin Tate, 90, of Wichita, Kan., who died Sunday, March 20, 2011, in Wichita, Kan., will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 26, at Patterson Springs Cemetery near Oark.
He was a native of Mabe, Va., son of the late Elbert and Nancy Fields Tate, retired meat packer, and United States Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Wilma Mullins Tate; and one son, Darrell Tate and wife, Ruth, of Wichita, Kan.

April 7, 1927 - October 30, 2017
Wilma Tate 90, passed away Monday, October 30, 2017 at Via Christi St. Francis.
She is preceded in death by her parents; Clero and Alda (Stepp) Mullins, husband; Elmer Tate, and her sister; Dew Yates.
She is survived by her son; Darrell (Naomi Ruth) Tate, brothers; Loren (Wanda) Mullins, Herla (Florabell) Mullins and Darious (Wanda) Mullins.
Visitation will be Friday November 3, 2017 from 4 – 8 P.M. at Cochran Mortuary.
A graveside service is planned at a later date in Patterson Springs, Arkansas.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorials to The Humane Society of Kansas, 3313 N. Hillside St, Wichita, Kansas 67219.
