Darrell Lee Cowell was born March 22, 1952, in Clarksville, Arkansas, and passed away December 12, 2015, at his home in Lamar, Arkansas, at the age of 63. He was retired from Greenville Tube and a member of Patterson Spring Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Linzie V. and Dovie Porter Cowell; a son, Aaron Dale Cowell; and two sisters: Francis Daniels and Dorris Ann Havener.

He is survived by his wife, Sharon Kay Skaggs Cowell of Lamar, Arkansas; two sons: James Don Cowell and Harvey Lee Cowell, both of Clarksville, Arkansas; two daughters: Stephanie Haynes of Clarksville, Arkansas, and Karen Rogers of Oark, Arkansas; four brothers: Clarence Cowell of Lamar, Arkansas; Donny Cowell of Oark, Arkansas; Calvin Cowell of Lutherville, Arkansas; and Dean Cowell of Lamar, Arkansas; two sisters: Kathryn McBride of Ozark, Missouri and Bessie Morland of Oark, Arkansas; and fifteen grandchildren.

Visitation was held 6-8 p.m., Sunday, December 13, 2015, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, December 14, 2015, at Hardwicke Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas, with Sister Linda Tate officiating. Burial will follow in Patterson Springs Cemetery in Oark, Arkansas.

Pallbearers will be Dwight Cowell, Michael Cowell, Randy Cowell, Joe Morland, Jonathan Morland, Jeffrey Morland, Jerry Cowell, and Travis Cowell. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tom Mingo, Rogers Rogers, and Lee Youngblood.
