John Thomas Watson was born to Ive Charles and Myrtle Johnson Watson on January 18, 1936 in Hagarville, Arkansas. He died in his home in Hagarville on September 27, 2011 at the age of 75 years, 8 months and 9 days. He was a Veteran of The United States Marine Corps, a retired Oil Derrick Worker, and Truck Driver. He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory, his wife: Vaughn Dell (Harmon) Watson of Hagarville, Arkansas; a daughter: Tessie and husband, John Dalton of Hagarville, Arkansas; two sons: Gary, and wife, Teresa Watson, of Lamar, Arkansas; Todd, and wife, Lori Watson, of Hagarville, Arkansas; nine grandchildren, and 17 great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Roller-Cox Funeral Home. Services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. in the Roller-Cox Chapel in Clarksville, Arkansas with Rev. Amos Pledger presiding. Burial will follow at the Hagarville Cemetery in Hagarville, Arkansas. Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 till 8:00 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2011.
Pallbearers are: Matt Watson, Greg Stricklin, T.J. Watson, John Dalton, Robert King, and Jim Harmon. Honorary Pall
