James Marvin Hefley, 76, of Knoxville died at his home, Tuesday, December 13, 2011.
Born Thursday, November 7, 1935 in Russellville, AR to Devoe and Bonnie Mae (Bramlett) Hefley he attended Strawberry Assembly of God Church and was a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years: Nannie Alberta (Sloniker) Hefley of the home; four sons: Dale Glen (Debbie E.) Meyer, Dover, AR; James Daniel "Tink" Hefley, Knoxville, AR; James Marvin (Tina) Hefley, Jr., Kansas City, MO; and Eugene Hefley, Independence, MO.; two daughters: Donna (Alan) Gardner, Baldwin City, Kansas, and Shirley Mae (Terry) Cahill, Columbia, TN; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Hulen Hefley
Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 16, 2011 at the Strawberry Assembly of God Church with burial in Hagarville Cemetery.
Reverend Stanley Taylor will officiate.
Active pallbearers will be: Mike Morgan, Kyle Shaddon, Mark Tumbleson, Sherman Cole, Rich Haston, Ernie Duvall, Ron Archuleta, and Terry Svolos.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Raymond Wheeler, Richard Pelts, I. W. Owens, William Graves, and Roy Holben
