Bobby Joe Boen was born on May 1, 1942 in Mountain View, Arkansas to Herman and Bernice Lister Boen. He passed away on August 4, 2020 in Hagarville, Arkansas at the age of 78. He was of the Christian Faith, a member of the Masons, a mechanic and heavy equipment operator.
He is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Doyle Boen and Alvie Lee Boen.
He is survived by his wife, Ann Harris Boen; his sons, Jeff Boen and John Boen; his daughter, Kelly Garner; his sister, Berneal Adams Warren; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild on the way.
Open viewing will be from noon until 5 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Hardwicke Funeral Home in Clarksville, Arkansas.
A graveside service is 7 p.m., Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Hagarville Cemetery in Hagarville, Arkansas with Reverend Jackie Townsell officiating. Pallbearers are Chris Garner, Jeff Boen, John Boen, Aaron Garner, Josh Garner, and Wilson Boen. Honorary Pallbearers are Steve Clark and Big Josh Garner.
