When Dorothy (Mini) Leifer White Waters was born in 1903 in Arkansas, her father, Robert, was 45, and her mother, Weltha, was 38. She married Fred Leifer on November 1, 1924, in her hometown. They had one child during their marriage. She died in October 1993 in Marvell, Arkansas, at the age of 90.
