When Jesse Vineyard Wooten was born on September 14, 1889, in Rondo, Arkansas, his father, Robert, was 39 and his mother, Wincy, was 33. He married Sallie 'Minnie' Rebecca Grimes on December 21, 1910, in Lee, Arkansas. They had nine children in 12 years. He died having lived for more than 100 years. He died on September 19, 1990, in Helena, Arkansas, at the age of 101, and was buried in Walnut Corner, Arkansas.
