Son of Joe and Clara
Robert A. (Bob) Sewell, 17, of Rt. 6 in El Dorado, died Monday morning following a tractor accident south of the city. Funeral services will be held at 3:30 p.m. today at Marysville Methodist Church with the Rev. Fred Haustine and the Rev. John Dill Officiating. Burial will follow under the direction of Rumph Mortuary in the Fredonia Cemetery. He was born Aug. 15, 1956 in El Dorado to Joe and Clara Pepper Sewell. He was a member of the Marysville Methodist Church and a graduate of Mt. Holly High School. In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Joe Frank Sewell of Longview, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. W. T. Swilley and Mrs. Don Griffin, both of El Dorado. He also leaves a number of aunts and uncles. Active pallbearers will be Harold Braswell, R. V. Alphin, Jennings Shaw, Ed Garner, Bruce Papper, Wendell Sewell, Reuben Wooley and C. E. Henson. Honorary pallbearers will be U.M.Y. Little Rock Conference, teachers at Mt. Holly and the senior class at Mt. Holly. Memorials may be made to the Marysville Methodist Church.
