Mrs. Mildred Helen (Motes) Mount, of Bradford, departed this life on July 18, 2019, at the age of 66. She was born December 15, 1952, the daughter of Robert Levi and Eva (West) Motes.
Mrs. Mount was a homemaker. Her hobbies included quilting and gardening. She was a member of the Bradford Church of God, where she had been a Sunday school teacher for several years. She loved spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Mount was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Michael West and Joseph “Joe” West; and two sisters, Audrey Motes Huskey and Kathryn Motes.
She is survived by her husband, William Mount; three sons, Timothy Mount, Charles Mount and Kevin Mount; one daughter, Tina Mount Foster; one brother, Dr. Andrew Motes and wife, Judy; one sister, Margaret Motes Bufford; ten grandchildren, Jonah McDougal, Paiton Vanwinkle, Cade McDougal, Landon Mount, Destiny Stivers, Landry Mount, Sedriana Foster, Lydia Foster, Savannah Mount, and Charity Foster; seven great-grandchildren, Elliot Kiambler, Jay McDougal, Jaxon McDougal, Scarlett Kiambler, Riley McDougal, Kiera McDougal, and Hansel Stivers; and a lifetime of friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Sunday 6:00 p.m. -8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Bradford Church of God. Interment will follow in Hickmon Cemetery.
