John William (Joe) Freeman, age 71, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Monday, December 1, 2008, in a local hospital.
Mr. Freeman was born October 24, 1937, at Gurdon, Arkansas, and had lived in Texarkana for most of his life. He was the owner and operator of Freeman's Used Cars.
Survivors include his wife, Marvelle Freeman of Texarkana, one daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Steve Hickerson of Texarkana, Arkansas, one son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Pansy Freeman of Texarkana, Arkansas, four grandchildren, Brooke Mooneyhan of Little Rock, Arkansas, Dusty Hickerson of Texarkana, Arkansas, Jay Freeman of Texarkana, Texas, and Kaitlin Freeman of Texarkana, Arkansas, and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 P. M. Thursday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Rev. Wallace Edgar officiating. Burial will be at East Memorial Gardens.
