FAYETTEVILLE — Max Donald Moore, 83, of Fayetteville, passed away Thursday, April 14, 2016, at his home. He was born May 30, 1932, in Cassville, Mo., to Horace and Nola Harris Moore.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Marjorie Moore and Gaynell Parker.

He was a U.S. Army veteran having served during the Korean War. Max retired from the University of Arkansas Physical Plant as garage foreman in 1996.

Survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary McCool Moore of the home; brother, Eugene Moore of Fayetteville; daughter, DeAnna Stokes and husband, Earl of Greenland; son, Jimmy Moore and wife, Brooke of West Fork; daughter, Vickie Hopkins of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Kelly Hopkins and wife, Mirinda of Springdale, Preston Stokes and wife, Amy of Springdale and Samantha Robinson and husband, Clint of Fayetteville; great-grandchildren, Alissa, Lyla, Rayne and Rylee; and honorary family friends, Rick Hopkins, Lacie Logsdon and David Ratcliff, M.D.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 18, 2016, at Beard's Chapel with Tom Lundstrum officiating. Interment will follow in the Bentonville Cemetery under the direction of Beard's Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, April 17, 2016 at Beard's Chapel.

FAYETTEVILLE — Mary Lue Moore, 83, of Fayetteville passed away Sunday, Feb. 12, 2017, in Fayetteville. She was born Aug. 23, 1933, in Bella Vista to Charles and Beckie Johnson McCool.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Max Moore and a brother, Charles A. McCool.

At the age of 16, she was an office cashier for Walton's 5&10 and then went on to work for Walmart for 15-20 years. She was also a Star Route Carrier for the Fayetteville Post Office.

She is survived by her children, daughter, DeAnna Stokes and husband, Earl of Greenland, son, Jimmy Moore and wife, Brooke of West Fork and daughter, Vickie Hopkins of Fayetteville; grandchildren, Kelly Hopkins and wife, Mirinda of Springdale, Preston Stokes and wife, Amy of Springdale and Samantha Robinson and husband, Clint of Fayetteville; great-grandchildren, Alissa, Lyla, Rayne and Rylee.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017, at the Bentonville Cemetery with Tom
Lundstrum officiating under the direction of Beard's Chapel. The family will receive friends from 4-6 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2017, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mary M. Moore Memorial Fund at First Security Bank. Condolences at www.beardsfuneralchapel.com.
