Eva Ruth Sharp Ferrell age 68, of Johnsville, AR. died Thursday May 31st at the Bradley County Medical Center. She was born January 31, 1944 in Warren, AR., a daughter of the late William Robert Sharp and Annie Mae Vickers Sharp. She was a loving mother, grandmother and wife, a member of the Calvary Presbyterian Church and the co owner and operator of Johnsville Companies, in Johnsville AR. Also preceding her in death are brothers, Bodie Sharp, Kenneth Sharp and a sister Willie Mae Thornton.
Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Ferrell whom she married August 6th, 1960 at Union Hill, Ingalls AR. 1 son Scotty Ferrell and spouse Rhonda, Johnsville, AR. 2 daughters Kendy Temple and spouse David, Johnsville, AR. and Christy Rogers and spouse Mike, Little Rock. AR. 1 brother Carroll Sharp, Warren, AR. 6 grandchildren. Halley Calhoun, Torie Maxwell, Shelby Thompson, Zane Ferrell, Grant Ferrell and Sydney Rogers. 5 great-grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren on the way!
Funeral services were 2:00pm Sunday, June 3rd at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann and Rev. Billy Reed officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, Johnsville, AR. by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active Pallbearers were Ronnie Newton, Monty Adams, Eddie Ferrell, Tommy Ferrell, Charlie Maxwell, Mitch Wardlaw, Sonny Rainey and John Herbert McCLoud. Honorary pallbearers were the employees of Johnsville Companies.
