Ruth Marie Rainey Harcrow, age 89, of Arkadelphia, AR. died Tuesday November 2, at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, AR. Born March 22, 1921 in Vick, AR. a daughter of the late Calvin Rainey and Laura Johnson Rainey she was retired from Jack Winter, a Baptist and the widow of Reo Paschal Harcrow who died November 8, 1981. Also, preceding her in death were brothers Wallace Rainey, Bufford Rainey, sisters Onie Ferrell, Orie Mann, Grace Ferrell, Irma Cooper and Virgie Butler. She was married to Sam Cotton of Sheridan for twenty years.
Survivors are 3 sons Calvin Purcell Harcrow, Texarkana, AR., David Keith Harcrow, Arkadelphia, AR., Stephen Michael Harcrow, Little Rock, AR., 3 daughters Brenda Joyce Blackwell, Arkadelphia, AR., Rose Sharon Hobbs, Benton, AR., CasSandra Kaye Bunting, Little Rock, AR., 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Friday November 5, Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery at Johnsville, AR., by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Chris Spencer, Logan Joseph, Casey Gainous, Dan Blackwell, Cindy Chandler, Sonney Rainey, Michelle Joseph and Steve Chandler.
