Charles William Moran, age 59, of Godfrey Place died Monday May 31, at his home. Born September 27, 1944 at Crossett a son of the late Thomas Rufus Moran and Lona Lee Goodwin Moran he was a farmer and a Baptist. Also, preceding him in death was a brother Roger Dale Moran and a sister Tennie Watkins.



Survivors are 3 sons David Moran of Godfrey Place, Tim Moran of Dothan, Alabama and Mark Moran of Little Rock. 1 daughter Shannon Moran of West Monroe, Louisiana. 3 brothers T.J. Moran of Hamburg, James Moran of Texarkana, TX. and Kenneth Moran of Hamburg. 6 sisters Carolyn Pratt of Bastrop, LA., Charlotte Wilcoxon of Crossett, Norma Reynolds of Hamburg, Libby Dison of Spearsville, LA., Sherry Nichols of Bastrop, LA. and Kathy Barnett of Crossett. 3 grandchildren.



Funeral services were 2:00 p.m. Wednesday June 2, Calvary Presbyterian Church at Johnsville with Rev. Roy Craig and Rev. Buddy Burton officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery at Johnsville by Frazer's Funeral Home of Warren. Active pallbearers were David Ferrell, James Spurlock, Tommy Best, J.P. Johnson, Eddie Ferrell, Donnie Ray Lowry, Danny Rainey and Van Cotham. Honorary pallbearers were Harvey Jones, Alan Ferrell, Billy Joe Ferrell, Glenn Ferrell, Ernie Ferrell, Sonny Rainey, Charles Roy Harrod and Johnny Upshaw.
