Bobby C. Boykin, age 62, of Hermitage, Arkansas, died Friday, January 21, 2011 at U.A.M.S. in Little Rock, AR. He was born February 23, 1948 in Johnsville, AR, a son of the late Ralph Boykin and Juanita Stanfield Boykin. He was a Baptist. He retired after 30 years from Potlatch and the Bradley Lumber Company.
He is survived by his wife, Lillie McGuinness Boykin of Hermitage, AR, whom he married on April 11, 1970 in Texarkana, TX; 1 son- Bruce Boykin of Johnsville, AR; 1 sister- Barbara Lane of Warren, AR and 3 grandchildren- Reagan Boykin, Ethan Boykin, and Gage Boykin-all of Johnsville, AR.
Funeral service were 1:30pm Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Frazer's Chapel with Rev. Buddy Boykin and Rev. Wayman Mann officiating. Linda Barrett was organist. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery near Johnsville, AR. by Frazer's Funeral Home. Active pallbearers were Jamie Hyde, Ronald Ferrell, Randall Wells, Rodney Boykin, Douglass Boykin and Wilson Richards. Honorary pallbearers were Tim Boykin and Doyle Boykin.
