When Henry Litchliter Hoover was born on February 26, 1914, in Wynne, Arkansas, his father, Marcus, was 44 and his mother, Mallie, was 42. He married Addie Jeanette Jackson on January 11, 1937, in Monroe, Arkansas. He died on September 16, 1988, in West Helena, Arkansas, at the age of 74.
