When William M. (Willie) Coburn was born on June 12, 1892, in South Pittsburg, Tennessee, his father, Ovid, was 23 and his mother, Katherine, was 24. He was married three times and had three children. He died on January 31, 1982, in Helena, Arkansas, at the age of 89.
