Bessie Jean Parker, 67, of West Helena, Arkansas passed away February 22, 2014 in Southaven, Mississippi. Jean was born October 10, 1946 to Robert Nicholson and Ruby Terry Nicholson.

Jean is survived by three daughters, Brenda Roy of West Helena, Tammie Parker of West Helena and Tonya Amerson (John Craig) of Clarksdale, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Felicia Willcutt (Richard), Victor Lopez, Brandon Amerson and Tonya Amerson Cotton (Carl); two great-grandchildren, Parker Lopez and Wayne Cotton; three sisters, Mable Smith (Bobby) of Rondo, Wilma Edmonson of Rondo and Kathy Smith of Rondo; two brothers, Vernon Nicholson (Lee)of Aubrey, Arkansas and Ricky Nicholson (Marsha) of West Helena; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Huel Parker, two grandchildren, Brandi Roy and David Roy; one sister, Gail Cummings; one brother, Wayne Nicholson and a special aunt, Kathleen Williams.

Services will be Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at Roller-Citizens Chapel at 2:00 P. M..Visitation will be from 5:00 P.M.-9:00 P. M., Tuesday, February 25, 2014 also at the chapel of Roller-Citizens. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.

Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, (870) 572-2571.
