Huel W. Parker, 71, of Helena, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 22, 2012 in Little Rock, Arkansas at University of Arkansas Medical Service. Huel was born June, 29, 1941 in Dell, Arkansas to Huel H. Parker and Maggie Hunt.
Huel is survived by his wife, Bessie Jean Parker of the home; three daughters, Brenda Roy of Helena, Tammie Parker of Helena, and Tonya Amerson (Craig) of Clarksdale, Mississippi; four grandchildren, Felicia Sprain of Helena, Victor Lopez, Jr. of Lexa, Brandon Amerson of Clarksdale and Tonya "Nikki" Cotton (Carl) of Helena; one great grandchild, Parker Lopez; three sisters, Eva Draper, of South Carolina, Giva Bates of California and Ima Smith of Arkansas.
Huel was preceded in death by his parents Huel H. Parker and Maggie Hunt.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Brandon Amerson, Victor Lopez, Jr., William Hopkins, Richard Willcutt, Michael Taylor and Dustin Harris. Honorary Pallbearers will be Virgil King, Lenny Newsom, Allen Newsom and Dwight Barnes.
Services will be 2:00 P. M. Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Roller-Citizens Chapel 508 Plaza West Helena, Arkansas burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena.
