E. Beth (Young) Brooks, age 72, a resident of Winthrop, Arkansas, died Tuesday, August 25, 2015, in Texarkana, Texas.
She was born December 20, 1942, in Horatio, Arkansas.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Horatio Church of Christ.
Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by her parents, William Thomas and Edna Pearl Sims Young; and four sisters, Louise Power, Corine Ayers, Ruby Rust and Verna McGough.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald Brooks of Winthrop; one daughter and son-in-law, Michelle “Shelly” and Jim Crenshaw of Cerro Gordo, Oklahoma; one son and daughter-in-law, Barry Todd and Lee Ann Brooks of Winthrop, Arkansas; a sister, Inez Taylor of Lockesburg, Arkansas; two grandchildren, Baylee Crenshaw and Bradi Kae Brooks; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Brooks will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2015 in the Wilkerson Funeral Home Chapel with Virgil Romine, Cy Davis and Bobby Tatum officiating.
Burial will follow in the Pauley Cemetery.
