Bonnie Jewel Gore, 88, of Melbourne died Tuesday, January 28, 2014 in Batesville. She was born in St. Jo, Texas on January 12, 1926 to Willis Winchester and Alice Pearl Smith Winchester.

She was a factory worker and homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Bruce Gore of Melbourne; a daughter, Judy Pennington also of Melbourne; eight grandchildren: Tony Veach, Jerry Pennington Jr., Christina Pennington, David Gore, Sheila Sowman, Michelle Clark, Deana Simmons, and Michael Gore; and three great-grandchildren, Conner Pennington, Chandler Pennington and Stefan Veach.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bails D. Gore; and a daughter, Wanda Veach.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Combs Cemetery under the direction of Roller-Crouch Funeral Home of Melbourne.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
