Dbl stone w/Richard Kerns

Margaret Mildred (Bonakowski) Kerns, 88, of Bradford, departed this life Saturday, February 6, 2016. She was born August 18, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois, a daughter of the late Albert and Anna (Schultz) Bonakowski.
On November 2, 1946, Margaret married Richard Kerns, and together they had three children. Margaret's goal in life was to make a comfortable home for her family and to make sure her children were raised properly. She loved taking care of people and worried more about others than she did her own self. Margaret enjoyed sewing, fishing, gardening, and watching television.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Kerns; ten siblings; and her parents.
She is survived by one son, Steven Kerns and wife Sharon of Pennsylvania; two daughters, Barbara Near of Bradford, and Sandra Berryhill of Michigan; a brother and sister in law, Arthur and Bettye Kerns; eight grandchildren, Andrew Kerns, Jonathan Kerns, Jennifer Timpo, Cynthia Near, Timothy Near, Donna Hall, Susan Hall, and Valerie Hall; and five grandchildren, Matthew Tempo, Aeron Tempo, Keira Brice, Anna Leasure, and Oliver Kerns.
A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held Saturday, February 20, 2016 from 1:00 until 2:30 P.M. in the chapel at Bradford Memorial Funeral Home in Bradford, Arkansas.
Cremation arrangements entrusted to Bradford Memorial Funeral Home. www.bradfordmemorial.com
