Wilma Jean (Hodges) White passed away Monday, November 5, 2018. Born on February 25, 1928 in Quitman, Arkansas , she was the daughter of the late Thurman Hodges and Lydia (Freeman) Hodges.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tildon "Jake" White, two sons Keith White and Dwayne White, one daughter Debrah Newby and two sisters Villa and Emmaline and one brother Danny.
She is survived by her daughters Marilyn (Roger) Riggs of Springfield, Illinois and Jan (Sam) Lester of Quitman, Arkansas, her grandchildren Barry (Shelby) Riggs, Laura (Nathanael) Riggs Troester, Rick (Nikki) Newby, Alaina (Bo) Newby Revak, Sarah Lester, Melissa (Jon) Lester and Sammy (Kasey) Lester, fourteen great-grandchildren, her sister Verl Pike of Quitman, Arkansas. Mrs. White is also survived by her many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
Visitation will be held from 9:00am until 11:00am on Monday, November 12, 2018 with funeral services beginning at 11:00am at Olmstead Funeral Home. Interment will follow in the Pearson Cemetery.
