Iva Jo (Morris) Garner, aged 61, died peacefully at her home in Bradford on June 12, 2017. Iva Jo was born August 20, 1955, in Monett, Arkansas, daughter of the late Barney Jo Morris and Iva Willimina (Cresswell) Pace.
Iva Jo was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She loved her grandchildren dearly. In 1980, she married the love of her life, Randall Eugene Garner and they began to raise a family. In addition to raising their three children, she owned a thriving upholstery business for years. Iva Jo loved to garden and landscape her property; she enjoyed bowling and playing Scrabble; and she was an avid collector and a scary movie buff. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband Randall Eugene Garner; her father, Barney Joe Morris; her mother, Iva Willimina (Cresswell) Pace; and her step-father, Bill Pace.
Left to cherish Iva Jo's memory are her son, Anthony (Katy) Garner of Springfield, Virginia; two daughters, Cynthia Garner of Shreveport, Louisiana, and Jessica (Toby) Williams of Travelers Rest, South Carolina; three grandchildren, Jordan (Thomas) Wallace of Dover, Delaware, William Garner of Springfield, Virginia, and Madeleine Williams of Travelers Rest, South Carolina; one brother, Robert (Elizabeth) Morris of Newport, Arkansas; one sister, Linda Winningham of Bradford, Arkansas; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
Friends may visit at the funeral home Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 10:00 - 10:30 a.m. A Memorial Service will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Oakland Cemetery.
