Mr. John Michael Zimmerman Jr., 93, of Mountain Home passed away Tuesday, November 05, 2019. He was born December 4, 1925 in Chicago, Illinois to John Zimmerman, Sr. and Wilma (Deyoung) Zimmerman.
Mr. Zimmerman was an avid aviator and member of the EAA club who enjoyed flying his homemade and RC planes. He also enjoyed working with model trains and painting.
Mr. Zimmerman is survived by one daughter Donna (Ronald) Forsberg; 3 sons: John (Janice) Zimmerman III, William Zimmerman, and Joseph (Yvonne) Zimmerman; 5 grandchildren: Holly Hurley, Ron Forsberg, Julie Zimmerman, Jackie Tessneer, and Nicole Zimmerman; 6 great-grandchildren: Mikalah, Madison, Gavin, Sage, Michael, Ethan, and Chase. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Charlotte Zimmerman.
A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Mountain Home, Arkansas. The funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow at Kirby Tucker Cemetery. Arrangements by Roller Funeral Home in Mountain Home.
