When Honore Louis Fessard was born on April 17, 1838, in Amherst, New York, his father, Joseph, was 34 and his mother, Marie, was 21. He was married three times and had two sons and three daughters. He died on March 21, 1913, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, at the age of 74, and was buried there.
