Obituary for Carmen Hockley
Carmen died May 6, 2008 at Baxter Regional Medical Center. She was sixty-nine years old. Carmen was born February 28, 1939 at The Dalles, Oregon to Lloyd and Esther Royse. She married Norman Hockley on September 16, 1958 at Wasco, Oregon. Carmen had lived in Bull Shoals for over 12 years after moving from Crossett, Arkansas. She was a member of the Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church and served as an Elder for six years. Carmen loved her life as a homemaker and was devoted to her family. She enjoyed bowling. Carmen attended college to study music and was an accomplished pianist. Survivors: She is survived by husband, Norman of Bull Shoals; three daughters, Marcia Fraley(Tim) of Madison, Wisconsin, Norma Daw of Winnsboro, Louisiana and Erica Hockley of Austin, Texas; three grandchildren Wade Fraley, Larissa Fraley and Lauren Daw, and one brother, Everett Royse of Tacoma, Washington. Preceded in Death by: She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral: A Memorial Service for Carmen Hockley of Bull Shoals, Arkansas will be at 11:00AM Saturday May 10, 2008 at the Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church with Reverend Mark Lenneville officiating. Memorials: Memorials may be made to the Bull Shoals Presbyterian Church.
