Mr. Alec Christopher Guyette, of Franklin, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, March 7, 2020. He was 29. Alec was born February 12, 1991 in Charleston, South Carolina.
Alec attended Marion High School in Marion, Illinois and was a member of the graduating Class of 2010. He had also been a student at ITT Tech in the Software Development program. A hard worker, he was employed at both O’Charley’s Restaurant and McAllister’s Deli.
Alec is survived by his mother, Shane (Woodman) Scarborough; his girlfriend, Carly Saylor; his siblings, Jonathan Scarborough, Charity Scarborough, Lee Luftman and Evan Pratt; his maternal grandmother, Janette Guyette; a niece, Riley Scarborough; a nephew, Dakota Scarborough; an uncle, Perry Woodman; an aunt, Crystal Nickels as well as his cousins, Morgan Byars, Jesse Byars and Austin Nickels.
Alec is preceded in passing by his grandparents, Joyce and Howard Scarborough; his maternal grandfather, Perry E. Woodman and a sister, Hannah Luftman.
A Celebration of Life for Alec will be at 1:00pm, Monday, March 16, 2020 at Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 1202 S. Lynhurst Dr., Indianapolis.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until the time of service at the mortuary.
