Geno Washburn Perdue, 42 of El Dorado, Arkansas formerly of Magnolia, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2009 in Columbia County.
He was born on December 1, 1966 in El Dorado, Arkansas. He served in the United States Army National Guard and the United States Army completing seven years of service. Geno was a vacuum truck driver for B & B Oil Tools, an avid fisherman, hunter, and extreme Arkansas Razorback Fan. The greatest joy in his life was being a husband, father, brother and spending his time with family.
He is survived by his wife, Kim Perdue of El Dorado; mother, Geneva Perdue Rawls of Waldo, Arkansas; five children, Tailor McAdams-Perdue of Kilgore, Texas, Adam Perdue and Elease Perdue both of Conway, Arkansas, Daniel Williams and wife Ashley of Magnolia, Michael Williams of El Dorado, Braxton Wayne Williams of Conway; two grandchildren, Brittany Williams and Tara Ogle; two sisters, Sheila Wilson Sweet of Lucky, Louisiana, Mary S. Perdue of Waldo; three brothers, David Sweet of Waldo, Terrell W. Perdue of Cabot, Arkansas, Jeff Perdue of Waldo; one nephew, Dyllan Sweet of Camden, Arkansas; and three nieces, Aubrey Simmons, Magen Simmons, and TyAnne Simmons all of Waldo, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be Sunday, February 22, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Lewis Chapel with Bro. Richard Britt officiating. Burial will follow at Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Family visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Donnie McWilliams, Billy McEachern, Chris Dews, Lamar Dews, Dossie Dews, David Sweet, Barry Joe Young, and Jeff Perdue.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the account at Farmers Bank for his children in then name of Kim Perdue and Terrell Perdue.
