When Bessie C. Cox Laird was born on January 18, 1909, in Arkansas, her father, Everett, was 23, and her mother, Anna, was 21. She had one son and one daughter with William MacKinley Laird between 1930 and 1930. She died on December 28, 1999, in Stuttgart, Arkansas, at the age of 90.
