Johnathon Austin Dempsey, 20 of Magnolia, AR died Thursday, January 31, 2013 in Waldo, AR. Johnathon was born October 20, 1992 in Magnolia and was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church. He was employed with Magnolia Oil and Lube Express and a student at Southern Arkansas University. He loved music and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Edward and Hazel Dempsey and maternal grandparents, Leonard and Joyce Bates.
He is survived by his father Bill Dempsey and wife Amy; his mother Tina Marlar and husband James; brother Jarryd Dempsey; sister Tiffany Dempsey all of Waldo; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and a host of friends.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 4th at the Shiloh Cemetery with Bro. Danny Bullock officiating under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. of Magnolia. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
