When Isabella 'Belle' C. Chandler was born on September 9, 1854, in Fairfield, Iowa, her father, Lewis, was 38, and her mother, Anna, was 33. She married Thomas V Nicholson in 1880. They had one child during their marriage. She died on June 22, 1919, at the age of 64.
