J.R. Bunner, V, 38, of Magnolia, AR died Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at his residence in Magnolia.
He was born on December 22, 1978 in Minden, LA and was preceded in death by his father Joe Raymond Bunner, IV. He was the owner of Cameo Crossfit and Bunner Aquatics. He was a member of the Pentecostals of Magnolia Church and the Columbia County Republicans.
J.R. is survived by his mother Janice Barnett, daughters Reece McDonald and Kate Slaton-Bunner; brother Jerald Bunner and wife Holly, and fiancé Melody Adams all of Magnolia.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 31 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pentecostals of Magnolia Church with Pastor Jason Wiley officiating. Burial will follow at the Shiloh Cemetery under the direction of Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. in Magnolia. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Jerald Bunner, Kenny Barnett, Matthew Goodheart, Thomas Watson, Scott Reeves, and Charlie Taylor.
J.R. was a loving son, brother, and father; was a respected coach and mentor; and will be missed by many.
In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial donations be sent to Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., PO Box 38, Magnolia, AR 71754 to assist with his funeral services.
