Charles Lee Fielder, Jr., age 84, of Pineville, Arkansas passed away Friday, September 23, 2016, at his residence. He was born March 5, 1932, in Nora Visa, New Mexico to Charles and Naomi (Childers) Fielder.
Mr. Fielder married Bonna Strout July 6, 2013, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He is retired from Corning Ware Manufacturing in Kansas City, Missouri. He is a member of New Life Assembly of God Church in Calico Rock. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Mr. Fielder is survived by his wife Bonna of the home, a daughter Debbie Thornton, two step-daughters Renee Kyle and Tammy Snell, four step-sons Roger Strout, Gary Strout, Mike Gray and Timmy Gray, two sisters Sarah Snyder and Sue Atchley, two brothers Aaron Fielder and Bob Fielder and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife Wanda and a son Jimmy Dale.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2016, at New Life Assembly of God Church in Calico Rock with Reverend Harry Hunter officiating. A visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment will be in Mountain View Cemetery in Flippin. Arrangements are by Roller Funeral Home.

Wanda June Fielder, age 73, of Pineville, Arkansas, departed this life on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 in Mountain Home.

Wanda was born August 7, 1938 to Clarence O. and Rutha Belle (Billings) Johnson. She grew up in Summit, Arkansas and attended Yellville-Summit School before attending High School at the School of the Ozarks in Point Lookout, Missouri, where she worked in the bakery to provide for her education. During this time, she developed her love of cooking and baking, which her family enjoyed through the years. Wanda especially enjoyed creating special birthday cakes for her grandchildren, which reflected their interests and hobbies.

Following graduation, she was married to Jimmy Gray. To this union, four children were born: Ricky, who died in infancy, Timmy, Tammy, and Mike. Wanda lived and raised her family in Kansas City, Kansas. On February 25, 1971, she was married to Charles L. Fielder Jr. and they celebrated 41 wonderful years together.

After raising her children, Wanda pursued a career in Nursing, first becoming a LPN and then continuing her schooling to become an RN. She then worked at Bethany Hospital in Kansas City, Kansas before she and Charles returned back to Arkansas. Wanda was then employed as a home health nurse in Baxter County, where she served as a visiting nurse and as an administrator. Following her retirement, she spent her time enjoying her family and volunteering her time to such places as the Pineville Christian Thrift Store.

Wanda was a kind and generous wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many and will be missed for her strong faith, her family dedication, her caring ways, and her warm smile.

Wanda was predeceased by her parents, her son Ricky; sisters: Betty Sue Allen, and Pat McGinnis; and brother J.C. Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Fielder of the home; daughter Tammy June Snell and husband, Mike, of Cole Camp, Missouri; sons: Timmy Gray and wife, Katie of Independence, Missouri; and Mike Gray and wife, Debbie, of Kansas City, Missouri; stepchildren Jimmy Dale Fielder and wife, Cheryl, of Montrose, Missouri; and Debbie Thornton and husband, Randy, of California; sisters: Mable Cobb and husband, W.A., of Flippin; and Ruby Williford and husband, John, of Norfork; 20 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday March 30, 2012, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville.

Funeral service will be held Saturday, March 31, 2012, at 2:00 PM at Burns Funeral Home in Yellville with Bro. Rayman Carneal officiating.

Interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery near Yellville.
