SILOAM SPRINGS — William ("Bill") J. Foreman, born in Gentry, Ark., on Nov. 13, 1936, departed this life on June 9, 2015.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis W. Foreman and Serena Dickson Foreman, his siblings, Kenneth Foreman, Curtis Foreman, Charles Foreman and Ollie Alfrey, and his beloved wife, Vicki Foreman.

Bill graduated from Gentry High School, served in the U.S. Air Force, and after attending John Brown University, commenced his business career first with an insurance company in Oklahoma City, Okla., and then in Siloam Springs, Ark., he joined Franklin Electric Company where he worked his way up through the company, served in many management positions, and retired after 37 years as Corporate Vice President.

Bill had an active civic life. He was a member of the Siloam Springs Jaycees and served that organization as Local President and later as a member of the National Board of Directors. He was a member of the Siloam Springs Rotary Club, served on the Siloam Springs Hospital Board, the Siloam Springs Housing Authority, the Siloam Springs United Way Board, the Northwest Arkansas Film Commission Board, the Board of Directors for the Northwest Arkansas Boys and Girls Club, the Siloam Spring Chamber of Commerce, including as President, and was a long time board member of the Associated Industries of Arkansas.

Never idle, Bill also served his community as Mayor of the City of Siloam Springs, Ark., and served Northwest Arkansas as a member, and ultimately as Chairman, of the Board of Directors of the Northwest Arkansas Regional Airport Authority. Bill Foreman lived a full life devoted to family and community, adhering to the adage that to whom much is given much is expected.

Bill Foreman is survived by his daughter, Kathy Pyle and her husband, Jeff Pyle, and two grandsons, Clint Conley and Dakota Pyle.

Visitation with the family will occur on Friday, June 12, 2015, between 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Wasson Funeral Home, 441 U.S. 412, Siloam Springs, Ark. Funeral services will be 10 a.m., Saturday, June 13, 2015, at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, Ark.

Vicki Elizabeth Foreman, 65, of Springdale, Arkansas, died December 20, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice, Springdale. Born June 23, 1945, in Kansas City, Missouri, she was the daughter of Frank Lee and Mary Williamson Lee. She was a longtime resident of Siloam Springs, Arkansas. Vicki was a member of Chapter T PEO, and was a past president of the Fayetteville Country Club Ladies Golf Association. She was affiliated with the Methodist Church. On May 11, 1984, Vicki married Bill Foreman. Survivors include her husband of the home; one daughter, Kathy Pyle and husband Jeff of Little Rock, Arkansas; two grandsons, Clint Conley and Dakota Pyle, both of Little Rock, Arkansas; and one brother, Larry Lee and wife Carol of Papillion, Nebraska. Pallbearers will be M.L. Van Poucke, Roger Minich, Bob Duppman, Jim Young, Doyle Guthrie, Jack Chase, Lloyd Cole, and Tom Gregory.

SPRINGDALE — Vicki Elizabeth Foreman, 65, of Springdale died Dec. 20, 2010, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born June 23, 1945, in Kansas City, Mo., to Frank and Mary Williamson Lee.

She was a member of Chapter T of PEO, and was past president of the Fayetteville Country Club Ladies Golf Association.

Survivors include her husband, Bill Foreman; a daughter, Kathy Pyle and husband, Jeff, of Little Rock; two grandchildren; and one brother.

Visitation will be 6 to 7:30 p.m. today at Wasson Funeral Home in Siloam Springs.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at The Cathedral of the Ozarks at John Brown University in Siloam Springs. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Siloam Springs.
