*Obituary
Benton County Democrat
Thursday, May 8, 1913

Died May 4 at his residence on Pea Ridge, Arkansas, E.T. Hall, aged forty-seven years and seven days. The home of the deceased's death was also the place of his birth. In this God blessed community he received his religious and educational training. Early in his youth he professed faith in Christ as his personal Savior and was received by the writer into the communion and fellowship of the church. This membership he held and honored until death. December 24, 1896 he was married to Miss Caldonia Evans. Four children were born to this union, two sons and two daughters. For several years he had been in feeble health but while physically weak he grew in hope and spiritual strength. Loved, honored and trusted, his religious life was a living epistle read and known by all who knew him. He is survived by his faithful companion and four amiable and obedient children, two sisters and a brother and many other relatives. The funeral service, held by the writer, assisted by Bros. Gilmore and Burton, was well attended by his neighbors and friends. The remains were laid to rest in the family burying ground by the Masonic fraternity of which he was an honored member. May the Holy Spirit comfort the bereft companion and these fatherless children. P. Carnahan.
