ELLIS, Margaret DICKSON - Died, at her home on the 9th inst., five miles east of Bentonville, Mrs. Margaret Ellis, age 77 years, of la grippe and old age, widow of David Ellis, who preceded her twenty-two years. She was a daughter of Joseph Dickson, twin brother to Robert Dickson, who was well known as one of the first settlers of Bentonville. She was born in Middle Tennessee in 1815; went to Central Illinois when a child with her parents where she lived until 1867 when she came to this county and settled on the farm where she and her husband died. "Aunt Peggy" has been a member of the Christian church from her youth.
