When Elmo Lewis Kesterson was born on November 1, 1899, in Arkansas, his father, Nicholas, was 24 and his mother, Dolorious, was 23. He had three siblings. He died on May 6, 1976, at the age of 76, and was buried in Stuttgart, Arkansas.
