Friends of Floyd Henry Action will pay final respects to the well-known Blytheville businessman when funeral services are held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the chapel of Cobb Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. E.B. Williams of the First Methodist Church. The 49-year old owner of Acton Printing Co. died suddenly of a heart attack at his home at 7 a.m. yesterday. The widow, Mrs. Myrtle Acton and a daughter, Margaret Jane, are lone survivors. They said Mr. Acton had not complained of ill health recently. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. Mr. Acton was born in Bergen, N.Y., in 1891. He served in the World War and went to Oklahoma after the war, where he was a traveling salesman for Taylor Paper Co. He came to Blytheville in 1920 and was advertising manager and bookkeeper for the old Blytheville Herald. In 1922, he opened a small printing shop with S.E. Vall and later owned Acton Printing Co., the concern he operated at the time of his death. Mr. Acton was a member of the American Legion, a former director of the Blytheville Chamber of Commerce, director of the Mississippi County Fair Association, a charter member of the Lion's Club and a member of the Country Club.
