BELLA VISTA — Bryant "Barry" Miller Jr., 74, of Bella Vista passed away Aug. 9, 2011, in Bella Vista. Barry was born March 9, 1937, in Somerville, Mass., the son of Bryant Barry Miller Sr. and Justina Richards Miller.

He was the director for the DASEP Program for Decision Point in Bentonville and attended Shepherds Chapel in Gravette and served in the United States Navy.

He is preceded in death by his mother.

Survived by his wife, Patricia Walther Miller of Bella Vista, Ark., children, Dwight Miller of Statesboro, Ga., Amy Fox of Orlando, Fla., Julie Edwards of Brunswick, Ga., Mitt Spittle of Rainier, Wash., Patrick Miller of Marysville, Wash., and Erin Kwyzla of Bella Vista, Ark.; his father, Bryant Barry Miller Sr. of Fort Hunter, N.Y., his brother, Jeff Miller of Amsterdam, N.Y.; his sisters, Peggy Nixon of Canajoharie, N.Y., and Rose Miller of Syracuse, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren who blessed his life richly and he loved very much.

Military honors will be at 2:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, at Bentonville Church of Christ on North Walton Boulevard, with memorial services following at 3 p.m. in the Great Hall at the church. Please park in the north parking lot at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's choice in memory of Barry.
