Paul Edwin Woodruff, 86, of Springdale died Monday, Feb, 12, 2007, at Regency Hospital in Springdale. He was born Feb. 5, 1921, in Pittsburg, Texas, to Charlie Columbus and Annie Mae McSpadden Woodruff.

Paul worked for Batesville Manufacturing and General Tire for many years. He moved to the area in 1999. He was a member of the Berry Street Baptist Church in Springdale. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge 10 and the American Legion. He served in the United States Army during World War II.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Vaughn Woodruff and one Sister, Ola Woodruff.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Duke Woodruff of the home, to whom he was married April 20, 1948; one daughter, Paula Sue Watkins and husband Kevin of Springdale; one granddaughter, Amy Gill and husband Matthew of Springdale; two great-grandchildren, Kayla and Sarah Gill.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 14 at Sisco Chapel in Springdale with the Rev. James Criswell, the Rev. John Smedley and Glenn Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
